Hey folks,
Sorry about my absence, but i had a lot to do in the last months. A lot of working, party and travelling prevented me from blogging. Let me give you a small revision of the last months.
After the last weeks of very stressful school we tripped around in czech republic. Brno and Prague were the targets we visited. Those cities are pretty cheap and nice but the people there are a little bit unfriendly. Anyway I made a lot of pictures which you can see here:
Pictures from Prague
I also had to leave munchies and my flat in Eisenstadt. Unfortunately we had to give up our penthouse flat in the students dorm in eisenstadt called “bährenhöhle”.
Enjoing july with working, beachvolleyball, and lot of party, schasi daniel and me have planned an england-scottland-Ireland trip. We guys met us in Dover and rented a car. First tries with driving on the left showed up no real problems except almost touching people on the sidewalk on the left with our driving mirror ;-).
Driving along the southcoast with standing on the cliff edge of the awesome white Cliffs at Beachy Head, Old Havencity Hastings and driving through Brighton and then to a parking place close to stonehenge was our first day.
The next Day we visited the fu..in’ boring stonehenge, succeeded with getting the first shower in Bath and celebratet a great party in the not really cheap oxford.
After visiting the SAE Institute in Oxford in the morning schasi, danny me and my hangover went on to Manchester. Great city but unfortunately it was, i think sunday or monday so there was not a great nightlife.
By the Way! In manchester we found our third Burton Store! We felt like chicky girls when we saw all the Burton Stores. Always we bought a lot of CHEAP stuff. Yess, indeed - its cheap in UK to buy trousers, t-shirts, shirts, jackets and stuff like that. But the problem was that we had no spare space in our backpacks - but we did it anyway :-P.
The next day we decided to miss Liverpool and go directly to the Lake District National Park in the North of England. I really want to go there once more. This landscape, the mountains the weird sheeps and the great view, you really have to see this. Just watch a view pictures:
After passing the Hadrian’s Wall which was the border between scottland and england in the past, we entered the country scottland. At the beginning we saw a rainbow like i never saw before. We were lucky when we arrived in the city centre from Edingbourgh. First reason for that was that exactly from this date on the fringe festival took place the whole month. Second, we got an accomodation! Bed and Breakfast for two days. We decided two days because we were very fast with driving through england. So we took a “driving day off”. The Fringe Festival shows up a lot of street artist and musicans. They played in the streets and in the bars as well. We had a lot of fun in this very nice city.

The Highlands were waiting for us. We had no plan yet when we accessed the motorway. We decided to go the western way to the north of scottland. And it was the right desicion!. Beautyfull endless highlands with purple flowers a lot of castles and tight roads. Like you propably expect when you go to scottland.
The way took over two days through the malt country where scottish whiskey, glenfiddich, aberlour and many others come from. We visited the Glenfiddich Distillery (no more comments to that :-)) and went to Iverness, the top of sucking Loch Ness. By the way a short comment to Loch Ness: It sucks! There is just nothing exept a boring non-proven tourist story about a crappy watersnake. Just the Castle of Urquhart was quite nice and very famous as well as we could see because of the mass of tourists.

Danny was the navigator of this day and he found in our huge-mega-4pound-perfect-detailed-Streetmap a place where waterfalls supposed to be placed. So we followed his hints and arrived with our car in the middle of the wood. After a short hike, one dog and one snake we found the waterfalls.
It was late so we decided to put up our tent and searched for some bulk wood to make a typical campfire. One of the best moments on the trip: Seeing the Coverbox of an original scottish Single Malt Whisky burn in our fire!! Incredible!! Probably my best picture of this trip.

So next Day we made an attack to the highland games on the isle of skye. Driving through high mountains and typical scottish rain we arrived one of the most famous islands of scottland. In Porth, the capital of this the isle of skye, the highland games took place. If you want to see real typical scottish behaivour and style, go there. We spent our night on the camping side there and went to a party in the evening. On this island you can find a lot of beautyful cliffs on the most western points of scottland.

Next Day we had to give back our first car to the car rental. So Glasgow was the next stop. We booked a hostel on the way and checked in. After a great night full of party and disgusting english/scottish fastfood we brang back our car and took the next train to stranrear which brought us to the ferry to Belfast.
In Belfast we took the nightbus to dublin. Arrived in Dublin somewhere round’ 2am we really needed an accomodation. The result of our search for a hostel was the really most disgusting accomodation i ever had. I don’t want to describe that - wöah.
Time for the next car. The rental company was really bad. First we searched for the car rental station in the south of dublin where we should normally got the car. But those suckers have their car pick-up just at the airport, which is located in the north. And Dublin is biiig, very biig.
But anyway the next goal, one of my main goals, was to check out beautiful ireland. First and short Stop was Cork, quite a nice a small city. Small in compare to dublin. Alltough Cork is the second biggest city in Ireland. It has a great nightlife, i really can recommend it.
To see the real landscape of ireland we checcked out the most reccomended bay - Dingle Bay. Dingle Bay and its cliffs as well as Killarny National Parks was especially for me the most exciting part of the trip. I never saw such a beautyfull landscape and nature before. Maybe Finland in autumn can beat it, but just maybe. Unfortunately it was raining like hell all the time, but you really have to expect that weather.
Finally we drove back to dublin for a 3 day stay and then back to austria directly to the frequency festival as final activity of this awesome summertrip with those two crazy guys.
